Vista boot options.

Hi,

I used this command as someone stated on a messageboard to startup windows everytime with the advanced options on default:

bcdedit /set advancedoptions Yes

however it is rather annoying so i tried to disable it with the following:

bcdedit /set advancedoptions No

The problem when i do this, is windows startsup as normal BUT F8 is completly disabled it does not bring up the advanced menu.

I tried to do last good configuration but it doesnt help.

Basically i want the DEFAULT option.

i tried bcdedit /set advancedoptions default... but that command is not recognized.

I am very frustrated as im stuck with either always going to start windows normally command or have the no advanced options and having to set the bcdedit everytime i restart if i want to startup in safe mode

can someone please help? i'd really appreciate it as ive been going nuts.

i feel really stupid that i edited the bcd and now i cant restore it.
