Let me explain one thing. What is vital to the O/S, and what is protected
*BY* the O/S is what the developers deem to be so.

You can try all the old methods.

1. Uninstall windows options
2. Edit the registry
3. Delete folders and files.

Some may work - others may not.

Some may be recreated upon a reboot.

It's your computer so experiment. I am happy with my computer the way it
stands and have no intention of futzing around to remove something that I
may come to regret.
