Steve, Intuit has some of the best user to user forums and you have a far
greater chance of resolving your issues with Quicken there than here. You
may have to do some digging or you might start a new thread. If you do, be
sure to give all the information, your hardware, other software installed,
what you've done, etc. Here's a link to the Quicken for Windows community:
http://www.quickencommunity.com/.efc99c0/
Also, in your response, you are now going beyond the scope of your original
post when talking about not being able to update. Nonetheless, you should
also describe that issue in your post to the Quicken forums as it may have
an impact on problems you may be having with Quicken.
If you want more help here with regard to Vista, you'll need to provide more
information, hardware, software, is it a clean install or did you do an
upgrade over XP, AV software, what firewall you are using, etc.
