Re: mail notification icon I had looked at the "hide inactive icons" which is selected - and is applied
to all items including the "you have new mail" icon. I have tried
customizing - but nothing gets it working again. I was thinking of
restoring the system to a recent time when the icon was working, but unsure
if that would do anything and the issue is not that important - more an
irritant. Anyway thanks for your input.
