you are asking for trouble using tweakvi
it plays on the GOOD name of tweakui to try and get users.

it is a useless problems that causes problems.
nothing in the free version that is not available in vista already.
you have to ay to get anything possible useful

and the author has a bad attitude.

I don't know about his attitude, but as long as you've purchased a license from them, support becomes very good. This is only reasonable. Why should he spend all his time supporting people who aren't supporting his product with their money, and who more than probably have no intention of ever buying a license?

Your comment that Vista can do anything the free version can do was pulled out of your bottom. It is not possible to remove the shortcut arrow from a stock-Vista using Microsoft tools. And there are many other things the free version can do that are not possible using MS-provided tools.

By the way, the author(s) of TweakVI live and work in New Zealand, so it's a little difficult to communicate with them via e-mail. But not impossible.

They aren't out to give a "free" product to the whole world. They are, after all, in business to make a few bucks.

I do advise anyone purchasing a license to make sure to save the email they send which contains your activation key, user name, and password. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to recover them from the seller (but again, not impossible).

Personally, I am looking forward to Automatic System Optimizer for Vista to be released. The product is very good, and will only be better if ASO is ever released in a native Vista build.
