Hmm. one last thought this boost speed for some reason created a 2nd network. I have to assume that's what it's been working on for the past 18 hours.
I deleted that 2nd network.
in your tray, network - network & sharing center. See if you don't have several networks beating each other to pieces.
Hmm... Isn't that exactly what you said the problem is ? 2 or more networks ?
Still no help. with me it's a no brainer. local Internet ONLY. anything else is waste.
