I am unable to solve your query as I too suffer from being unable to move change folder attributes in Vista Home Premium.

Even If I create a new folder I am unable to change it's name, it just reverts to "New Folder".

I have probably set something to "Irritate" in the control panel and forgot about it.

Also I get the Blue screen stating an issue with regards to Memory_Management or manager?!?

Any ideas?
