Thank you for your help. I was able to find and read most of the messages by
searching on *.eml. I had earlier retrieved some messages by restoring from
a back-up disk. However, that wiped out the recent messages received and
answered between the back-up period. Your solution allowed me to get at most
of these messages. I still can't open some of them. Anti-virus is off.
Windows Mail is closed, but I get a message that says cannot open because
being used by another application or is missing, followed by a message which
says "WindowsMail could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be
initiated.
