Re: Vista Home Premium and Office 2007

Peter,

Okay, I've downloaded and run this. I tried running it with Office 2007
still installed with no improvement and then I tried uninstalling Office
2007, re-running this program and then reinstalling Office 2007. Still
getting all the same problems with the installer launching.

Also, something else that's happening - Outlook under my ' user account' is
no longer launching the installer at all, however, when my husband signs into
his user account, Outlook launches the installer for every message!!

Anything else you may be able to think of to try? It just seems like even
though the programs ARE actually installed, that Vista just isn't recognizing
them. As I noted earlier, the only Office 2007 program that appears under my
'Default Programs" selections is Outlook. Work, Excel, etc. don't appear
anywhere and even in my file types, I had to manually add .doc and .xls to
associate them with the proper programs after installing Office 2007.
