The same 80048820 error apear with the 80048416 extended error...
It has to be some incompatibility between my firewall (proxy) and the
messenger.
Is there any way I can solve this problem?
I imagine that if I ask the network administrator to put me outside the
firewall and connect to MSN... it is going to work the same way it was
working before, and after he puts me back at the firewall, MSN will still be
working.
I want to correct this problem!

Mari,
I would ask your network administrator to give permission for MSN to be allowed in and out of the firewall. This is what seems to be wrong, I believe.
