WARNING!! Vista Windows Genuine Activation (WGA) Problems : Genuine Microsoft Software Advantage There is a problem with Microsoft's WGA servers and they are not allowing Vista to be activated as Genuine. http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=1004&SiteID=25 Do not do anything that would require you to reactivate or validate Vista. EX: Windows Updates, Hot Fixes, Activation, etc.
Wait a week before trying again to give Microsoft a chance to sort through the problem. If you do not, you will be left with a Vista that is considered not Genuine.
