The DVD I have purchased is the upgrade DVD to 64 Bit Vista. However, as I have tried to explain above, when I try to install the program from the set-up menu on the disc it tells me that it cannot be done with the current 32 bit OS installed. I am then instructed to run the disc from boot up. When I do this nothing happens. No indication that I am being converted to 64 bit or anything. Have checked in the BIOS to make sure that the Drive with the disk is first in line, but still no joy. How do I get my PC to recognise the upgrade disc? It's about to be launched out of the window soon if I can't get it to load. MS only work weekdays so cannot ask them for advise either.
