I have just got a new laptop (actually its been 2 months now, but i havent resolved its internet connectivity issue, so havent really used it much - still feels new
Ok, i followed this thread and have done almost all the things suggested, but my internet connection is still VERY SLOW
[1] netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable ---> Executed this command maybe 50times, just incase some service would be auto-starting it, but doesnt seem like it helped. If it did, then its not noticeable
[2] reverted back to an older version of REALTEK driver (now i am on version 5.663.1212.2006) as one of the threads mentioned (btw, i cant get any older version than this)
[3] i use firefox, already using SSL 2.0
[4] i recently installed CA anti-virus (got this one free after rebate
but i have tried disabling and then browsing, but this didnt help - so guess CA anti-virus is not an issue)
SO PLEASE HELP -- i am running out of ideas, but my vista aint running
