Re: mcafee (vista beta) issues I think some people just now how to draw them in Steve. Like you, I haven't
seen a virus in 10 years, even with six computers online 24 hours a day, 365
days a year and two teenage kids downloading anything and everything. I have
McAfee antivirus on their machines. Nothing on mine most of the time. Other
than that just the basic built-in Windows security.
Ironically, I have been called up to pull some nasty viruses off other
people's machines at the local repair shop. Those wicked stealthy ones that
are hard to find and keep coming back. Strangely, those computers have
virtually every popular anti-virus, anti-this, and anti-that product on the
market installed on them. Go figure.
