WLM 8.5 on Vista 64??
Are any of you actually running Vista x64? I'm curious because after I tried to install, Beta 1 failed at 80% and Beta 2 just pops up a box that says it doesn't install on this operating system.
After I contacted windows live messenger support, they responded that the Beta 2 installer doesn't work on 64bit xp or vista, and that thanks to user feedback, they plan to issue a beta that does sooner than the final release.
However, here on the Vista x64 forums, everyone is just talking about the Beta and nobody's mentioned the inability to install on, uh, Vista x64. Does that mean nobody is having a problem but me, or that nobody is running Vista x64 but me?
Anyone know how to make this work otherwise?
