Hi,

I am trying to install Stata 10 on windows Vista. The manual says that
the first time I run Stata, I must run it as an administrator by right-
clicking on the Stata application icon.

However, when I right-click, I do not see the option to 'run as
adminstrator'. I went to the Properties> advanced, and the option to
'run as administrator' was greyed out.


Do you have any ideas of what I am doing wrong? And how can I get
Vista to allow me to 'run as administrator'?????
