FightingScallion, I'm using an Intel E6600 and have tried the keyboard in both the mobo usb and pci hub usb slots.
I've just removed the usb hub altogether to see if it was indeed causing the bsod, but still the same result. The latest reclusa drivers do not solve the issue either. When I first built the system I used a logitech bluetooth keyboard that gave me exactly the same bsod, so I'm guessing that Vista is more to balme than the keyboard manufacturer drivers.
I really appreciate your help as I'm running out of options, short of reverting to an old PS2 keyboard!
