Open a command window as an administrator. Then type sfc /scannow.
There's a chance that'll help. Other than that, you could just try the standard stuff in Device Manager (updating drivers, checking for new PnP devices, and the like).
Also, check BIOS to ensure that it'll support Legacy USB. Could be some funny issues in there, though without having your BIOS to look at, I can only guess on things to suggest. |
