Other than that all looks fine, one thing to think about when taking the x64 plunge is can you get drivers for your old hardware? printers,scanners etc, the driver situation has improved massivly over the last 12months but if you have any hardware over 3years old there is a good chance you wont find a driver.
Mainly because of the price but then again this system is costing me more than I first intended to spend so, maybe I should just go whole hog and spend the extra £'s.
I don't have that much old hardware. The only piece I will be using is a Netgear wireless adapter which does have a x64 driver, albeit with some issues.
I was also wondering whether I should upgrade the RAM. I am intending to have 4GB in the PC (I was installing 2GB in the initial build to shave off a few £'s) and I was considering using 4GB (2x2GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2 instead (future proofing).
