Welcome to the forum.

When you type in wmplayer and iexplore, right click on the file at the top of the Start Menu and right click on it instead of pressing Enter. Now, click Properties - Send To - Desktop (create shortcut). Just drag and drop the new shortcuts into the Start Menu.
