They didn't even ask for my Vista key. When I got through to a person I
explained the XP Pro key had been used on another machine and I was using
the same cd because I was wanting to use the downgrade right and license it
with a Vista Business license. Then the lady I spoke to just told me the
activation number. Could not believe how easy it was, once I got past the
automated part. I had a printout of the downgrade right document just in
case I was challenged.
