If it helps, I'm on Charter (in Morgan Hill, CA) and am running
Vista/Windows Mail with no problems....yet. I've only been running Windows
Mail for a bit over a month...when I set-up a new notebook with Vista
pre-installed.
Prior to that I was using Win XP/OE on Charter.
As for Charter's availability, I've been lucky. I've only had one 4 hour
outage (both TV and HS Internet) a couple of months ago. But I've notices
random channel outages in the early morning hours over the last very months.
Their monopoly may be coming under more competition from satellite and
telcos over the next few years.
