Hi dont,

I would be the one from that post. As Richard Urban stated, make sure that you do not have any 3rd party program that is set to clear the folder view settings when ran.

Method Two in this tutorial will show you how to reset the folder view settings so Vista will remember your changes. When you make your changes to the Explorer window, close it to save the settings. Vista will only remember the way it is when you last close the window.
