I need simple advice and explanations: I ran my Vista Upgrade 32bit Basic
install DVD (to replace XP sp2) per the onscreen directions... But, all my
computer is doing is continuously (all night-long, in fact!) rebooting
itself. What I see, in sequence, is firstly the usual screen listing my
drives(2 hard & 1 DVD),then a screen listing the start-up files, then a menu
screen asking if I want to boot-up into Safe modes or into normal Vista mode:
After these, I only get a black screen with a "progress"(?) screen with the
running green stripes(which cross left to right 7 times),and which says
Microsoft Corporation beneath...and that is the end of it! -- this rebooting
cycle instantly starts again, endlessly... ;(
PLEASE HELP!!! (again, I need very simple, dumbed-down, instructions)TIA
