Hi Mimi,
I would go ahead and install everything. When it's finished installing, just right click on the
ball with an
A in it and click
On-Access Protection Control. Click the
Details button.
Now you can select what you want Avast to scan. I would recommend that you
Terminate the
Internet Mail and
Outlook/Exchange ones. These are redundant, and you are still protected by the other scanners.
