Thanks for the work arounds I changed my port and that worked. However,
your answer implies first time setup of the email client. I had actually
been using my email client ,with mail being sent on port 25, for several
months until yesterday when I began receiving the same error as the
originator of this thread. Additionally, my email provider is not the same
as whom I am accessing the web via and I use wireless connections to access
the web.
Why would this suddenly be a problem if I've not changed anything in my
email account setup? Is it something related to possibly a windows update?
