salpap

i have vistas ultimate x64 bit, my problem is when i try to install a program i get the message destination folder access denied can not install program, i have takes ownership of basically all folders on my computer, especially the programs files, i am the only user on the computer so am administrator, so i can not understand why i get this message, can any one help as i can not install any programs on my system at the moment. thanks
