Hi - this is not the same problem and I apologize for writing in here. I was
unable to find the correct thread, ANDt the new post button is not working!
Here is the deal:
I have Vista home premium media player 11.
I am trying to copy audio cassettes to my pc and then burn them to cds.
I have figured most of it out - <g> but after the files are created into
wave files, and i try to burn a cd with multiple files from multiple
cassettes (as they are stored on my pc in very large files), there is an
error button - a red X - on most of the song files in the list of files to be
burned. Media player will not burn or copy any of these files with the red
x's on them. The details say something about media player does not know how
long the files are and cannot determine if the files will fit on a cd. So
they cannot be burned.
Where do I get help on this and how do i tell media player how large
(usually in min:sec) the files are so i can get on with this project? I just
want to take the wave files saved and burn them on to a cd so i can delete
them from my pc and play them in my car.
Thanks so much!
Debbie
