Thank all for your answers. I need to manage the registry to try avoiding
continuous restart of windows installer after installing Outlook 2007 (I
asked for answers about this in another newsgroup). I found a possibible
solution using group policy, so I looked for it, discovering it wasn't
present on my system.
Regards.
Giovanni
Giovanni,

You might check in the "Run" and "RunOnce" in Method Three in this tutorial to see if you have a entry responsible for the installer restarting. It would not hurt to look through Windows Defender and MSCONFIG either.

Startup Programs - Enable or Disable

If you can post a link to the possible solution with gpedit.msc, then I can find the registry equivalent faster for you.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
