Hi Craig,
Your problem is a bit different. You may have a process from that program still running when you are trying to uninstall it. Check in Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) under the Processes tab to see if there is a entry for that program. If so, click on it to highlight it, then click End Process. Confirm the action, then try uninstalling it.
If you do not know which one it may be in Task Manager, then make sure the program is not listed in Startup Programs and restart the computer to try to uninstall it again. Method Two in this tutorial will show you how. You can just Disable it in case you pick the wrong one. This way it will be easy to enable it again if needed.
