well i did the first part of what u said and I have "High definition Audio
Device". i right clicked right click in the Recording window and selected
"Show Disconnected
Devices" and "Show Disabled Devices". And i have a dell inspiron 1501
laptop, so the sound card came with the laptop. it is built in.
