How should I connect my PC to TV

What I want to do is:
Connect my Vista Media Center PC (located upstairs) to my 1080P LCD TV (located downstairs), the cabling distance between PC and TV is 12 mtrs.

Advice
I need advice from those with experience in setting up similar PC to TV connectivity. How to connect; quality of cables; signal over distance; etc. I have discounted wireless due to issues with signal reliability

PC Spec
Triple TV Tuner Card (DVB-T, DVB-S & Analogue), connected to it is a Skybox and Anlg Roof Aerial. PC also has a Blu-ray and HD-DVD drive and HDMI PC-to-TV output (supports HDCP).

I want to buy good quality products that will guarantee to deliver perfect High Definition sound & vision (version 1.3a) to my TV; and naturally I don't want to pay more than is necessary.

So, if you can assist me by first confirming what I want to do is feasible and second provide advice in finding good quality cables and if necessary repeater.

Have I missed anything out, is there something I haven't taken into consideration, am I completely crazy with what I want do?
