Re: HP scanner won't work w/ Vista

Unfortunately I've been dealing with the same issue for the last two months.
I had both computers wirelessly networked to the HP 6310 and both worked
with XP. My Desktop, which I loaded Vista on, no longer recognizes the
scanner. Here's what I've I've tried:
Connect it directly, no luck
Reload the drivers from HP (about half a dozen times), no luck
Contact HP, no luck
Contact Microsoft, no luck.
As to the suggestions and comments that it's hardly MS's fault, they are to
blame just as much as the vendors. MS shouldn't be fielding OS that isn't
backwards compatible. Like you I loaded the 32 bit verison, I can run 64 but
didn't want to deal with comatability issues.... oh well.
If you happen to hear from HP or figure it out on your own, please post, I'd
love to have my scanner working again.
