RE: windows defender and avast virus problems Have you installed Avast to both partitions?
I have a different AV on my XP hard drive than I have on the Vista drive and
Defender reports both of them but only one is installed for Vista.
Connection problems did you install your LAN again with Vista from the
motherboard disc?
