I had a similar problem trying to delete a .mov file saved to my desktop. All delete commands (through Windows, through the Command Prompt, etc.) simply hung and didn't work. Then I uninstalled Quicktime (which required a reboot, for some reason) and deleted the file using right-click/delete. Worked great! What a strange problem that was! |
