RE: windows defender and avast virus problems Wow! Yes to the first question and no to the second. Thank you so much for
the most helpful response! I will definitely try reinstalling the LAN. As
for the AV, I've uninstalled it and reinstalled a fresh one from the Avast
website on both partitions and still the same problem. Then when I go to try
to get PC-ciillin or something else, I can't get back online to get it. With
your solution as least I can stay online long enough to try a different AV.
