It seems u are involved in a big problem. Many things can go wrong with hardware. Everytime ms releases its os or patch, a list of thorough compatibility tests are passed. So merely dropping your criticism on os is not fair. The issue may arise with:
1. driver bugs
2. internal interconnection (weak wire, loosely plugged head...)
3. the motherboard is often the source of wierd hw recognizing issue (and many other), try a diff mb to see if this is solved.
4. memory quality
5. os is incorrectly installed
...
the sp1 has not yet offically published (except the RC version), you do not need to manually dl it as ms update will do this for u. |
