I do not know if this is still an issue, but I was searching for a way to fix this myself. I went over to my brother's house today, and I do have admin to his router on his computer. I found that if I set the "NAT Filtering" found on the "WAN Settings" on his router from "secured" to "open" that this took away it asking for credentials.
