In the registry, create a new key named 'Shell Icons',
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell
Icons]
Under this new key, create a REG_EXPAND_SZ (Expandable String Value) named
'3' and edit it's data to be the path to your icon.
Key Name:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell
Icons
Name: 3
Type: REG_EXPAND_SZ
Data: %SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll,177
