All versions of Outlook prior to 2003 used ANSI format .PST (Personal
Folders) files which have a size limit on the order of 1.6 GB. You are VERY
close to that limit. If you use the Journal, delete any unneeded files,
make sure you've emptied Deleted Items, and try compacting the folder. If
that doesn't work, create a new .PST file and use copy and paste to move
data from the old file to the new one. Note that Outlook 2000 has
compatibility issues under Vista.

It's Outlook 2000 and the .pst file is about 1.5GB which, is funny
because there's almost no information in there...only a few hundred
contacts. No messages or anything...contacts don't take up that much
space do they?
Anyway, I don't know how big it should be because I haven't managed to
export my WLM messages to my Outlook yet.
