Stay or go back?
I'm at the end of my rope with Vista Business... Almost everything takes 10
times longer to install and configure, it won't even consistently synch with
my Tilt w/ WM6. I'm on the verge of converting my license to XP Pro and I'm
wondering if SP1 will provide the fixes to this and a myriad of other hassles
that have made the "upgrade" to Vista extremely painful. I'm tire of my
printer drivers having to be reinstalled every time I turn the printer on
because Vista forgot I had that printer. The only feature that I might miss
is the window preview when you hover over an app on the start bar and that's
not nearly enough to continue.
My small group of friends and associates share this excremental view of
Vista but I thought I would put this out here:
Is there any compelling reason to wait for the SP1 that might appear in 3 to
6 months or should I convert to XP Pro or Linux?
