OneCare 2.0 and logon script v1 didn't do this. I've noticed that if I logon too quickly after the WinXP
workstation boots up that I get an error when the SBS 2003 logon script
runs. The error is that it can copy the setup file to the workstation. The
SBS logon script runs a program that makes checks of the OS on the
workstation. The problem appears to be that OC2 isn't ready yet. If I delay
logging on for a few seconds then the error doesn't occur. I've also noticed
that if I logon too quickly that the OC icon is gray instead of green when
it appears in the tray; however, once again, if I delay logging on the icon
is green as soon as it appears in the tray. This appears to be a timing
issue only, but as stated, it didn't happen in v1. Does OC need to delay the
presentation of the "Press Ctrl+Alt+Del" screen for logon or does it need to
just recognize the local network sooner? I haven't tried yet with the
firewall turned off before rebooting, but it may yield some additional info.
