All just marketing fluff or is it really that good?

Ok, i've always believed that if something seems too good to be true it
generally is too good to be true.

After reading about OneCare and trying out the free online web scanner I was
pleasantly surprised. I would like to know, from the people out there
running Vista with scores of below 4 on their performance rating system,
what OneCare does to their systems?

Traditionally antivirus has had a major affect on system performance
especially when combined with spyware detection, adware detection, firewall,
etc. Now that said obviously Microsoft know how their OS works and would
have developed something which is good for their OS, but I want to know what
the community says AND is it really worth the 38 quid the vendors want for
it?

Kind regards
Richard
