Thank you Robert. That was my point, exactly. I was just checking to make
sure something BIG hadn't happened since the last time I looked. <g>

But, now that I think of it, wouldn't that be a good idea? If you could
BACK UP data to a secret/hidden sector of a disk and then reformat it and
then restore from the same disk after the format. It would certainly
simplify getting a fresh install of the O/S. I know it's possible because
my Sony VAIO laptop didn't come with any O/S disks but it has procedure for
reinstalling the O/S from a hidden sector.
