Know what you mean...makes you want to tear your hair out. I changed (Vista) settings to disallow monitor to sleep and that solved 75% of the problem. However, monitor still wants to go to sleep at times in spite of settings. Then Bluetooth devices won't wake up. I keep having to go into the Control Panel using a wired mouse and "find" them.

I bought the Bluetooth keyboard & mouse for an XP OS computer in November 2007 and never had a problem. Got new (Vista OS) computer in December and it's been a nightmare since.
