Greetings,

I tried the recommendations to get the old, full address bar back in Explorer, but it didn't work.

I had previously set the theme to Windows Classic, but had failed to find the folder setting. So, I set it and then closed my explorer windows and opened a new one up...but it was still the "breadcrumbs." Any ideas why it isn't working? The settings are sticking, but they aren't being honored.

Is it because I'm on Enterprise? This is my work laptop that I was forced to move to Vista on. I share dropping_the_ball's angst about Vista, but have no choice. I have been using Windows for over 10 years...got my first exposure in High School with Win 3.2 (I think that was the right version). So I'm used to large degrees of change within various Windows' versions.

My preferred OS is Ubuntu (right now...really anything *nix), but I cannot limit myself to that narrow market. I'm a computer professional and Windows is a huge market presence (duh!).

Anyway, any help or ideas are greatly appreciated!
