I've got exactly the same problem - an Optiplex 755, but on XP. Intel(R) 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ethernet adapter keeps dropping out (seemingly disconnecting then reconnecting a second later). The box in question is connected to an Allied Telesyn At-9000 switch. Logging the following in the Event Log:

Any help much appreciated. We have a few 755's and only one is exhibiting these problems..
