Re: decoder error in media center Sounds like that update could be the cause it might have made irreversable
changes to some of the code
the easiest solution would be for microsoft to add a media center repair
tool to vista that way the user could reset the decoder at the click of a
mouse
I can see this becomming a major issue otherwise. It sounds very good in
priciple to have a media center with everything built in and preset but it
also limits repair options when components become corrupted
