Re: Editing text

Hi, PJM.

I seldom use WM since WLM "went gold" last November. But a quick check this
morning shows that it works as it always did - just like OE6 and WLM.

My keyboard does not have an Insert key and I miss it. My older keyboards
always used that key to toggle between Insert Mode and Overtype Mode.
Simply pressing the Insert key would change the behavior - in either
direction. Does your keyboard have an Insert key? What happens if you
press it and then type something in the middle of a sentence?

After searching several Help files, I still haven't found a substitute for
the Insert key on a keyboard like mine (Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard,
part of the Wireless Laser Desktop 6000). There is an Insert button on my
Menu bar, but it is not for this function.

All I can do is highlight the text that I want to overtype before I start
typing.
