As above, after much time and angst, I have realised that my Xbox 360
controller is doing pretty much the same as the HD above. I have 2 USB
Root Hubs showing in Device manager, 1 of which is hosting my mouse and
ASDL adapter (modem). When I plug in my controller it sucks the power
away from the modem and I lose internet. Even when I remove the
controller I have to reboot the PC to get the Internet back on.
Is there a way around this hassle? My mobo is an ASUS P5N-E SLI.
